This interdisciplinary workshop focuses on the intersection of science, policy, race, and gender in the way the Arctic and Antarctic are studied, represented, inhabited, and imagined.

Opening night: Isaac Julien presents his film True North followed by a panel discussion. On Friday its an all-day conference including keynote speakers and panels on Polar Art Practices and Polar Geopolitics. Schedule posted on website. Free, open to the public, no registration necessary.
