Report from the Swedish part of the Japanese Swedish Antarctic Expedition, JASE
Report no 4, for 27-28 November
We are back to work preparing for the inland traverse after the heavy storms. After more than a week of wind speeds between 15 and 42 m/s we really appreciated the calm and sunny weather of today. All equipment is in good shape and the good weather brought new energy to all of us.
Due to the problems we have had with weather we have postponed our departure by two days. The new departure date is December 1. The combination of present good weather and a positive forecast for the following days is promising, and we do not think we will have any further delays.
