We are now approaching westwards and are at the moment on 75o S, 13oE. We are performing continuous sampling and surveys while moving and physical and chemical snow sampling at the stop sites. We move 70-80 km per day and plan to reach the Kohnen station within less than a week. The daily temperatures are now slowly increasing due to seasonal changes and our gradual drop in elevation. The weather is stable with intense sunshine all day long. The Japanese team is now at Dome Fuji.
