Tonight we are camping only 30 km from Wasa. It feels somewhat strange that the whole adventurous traverse is over tomorrow. We have travelled 3000 km and we are now approaching the end. We have been very lucky on the way back with almost no mechanical problems, fine weather and good snow conditions all the way. But we are also proud for our own contribution to the fulfilling of our mission. The science has been very successful and the Swedish -Japanese groups have had an excellent cooperation from the planning and all through the performance of the traverse.
