Liam Nolan, a teacher from Cirencester, UK, is participating in an Arctic expedition aboard the Russian Icebreaker Kapitan Dranitsyn together with other teachers from Europe and the US. This is his diary, hosted by the Scott Polar Research Institute (SPRI). Liam will be working with SPRI to develop teaching materials on science in the Arctic when he returns.
