A new book on the mechanics of frozen ground – “Foundations in Permafrost” — has been published, by Dr. A.S. Gerasimov. The book is comprised of two parts: “Fundamentals of Frozen Ground Rheology” and “Settlement and Bearing Capacity of Foundations”. The release of third part, “Engineering”, is planned.
